The Sunday Mirror, (yeah I know not the best of papers) has a piece about ‘Has Kate Moss cleaned up her drugs past on Google?‘.

This is an example we commonly refer to when talking to new clients about online reputation management because everyone knows who Kate Moss is and what Kate Moss has done in the past.

Many people question morals, and if online reputation management is ethical, my view is that everyone has a right to a clean reputation online it is only the same as employing spin doctors and PR companies generating positive news in light of bad press.

The biggest tip I can give regarding online reputation management is don’t let it happen in the first place, be proactive not reactive.

We always recommend to clients who maybe in a high risk sector to build a strong online presence at the earliest stage possible, that way it minimises risk of future attacks.

As a company we do have guidelines for the clients we do take on regarding online reputation management I believe morals do come into play but everyone makes mistakes, it just depends on what that mistake is.

So Ashley Cole & Heather Mills, if you need any help with any type problems you may be having give us a call ;)

BTW - Congrats to Will from Distilled for another mention
